ZTE R750 Dual mode Android phone

ZTE’s another Android phone was spotted at the ongoing P&T/EXPO COMM China 2010 event. The phone was named as R750, and runs Android 2.1. One important point is that the it is a dual mode phone, and supports CDMA and GSM radio. The design looks quite ordinary, but the specs are not bad, as a phone that is priced around 1800 Yuan. It gets a 528MHZ Qualcomm MSM7627 processor, a 3.2 inches 320×480 capacitive touchscreen, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, and a 3-megapixel camera.

Huawei C8500 bargain Android phone hands-on video

At the ongoing P&T/EXPO COMM China 2010 event hold in Beijing, Huawei brings with its new Android phone C8500. The phone supports EDVO radio, and will head to China Telecom in China. It’s targeted at entry-level market, with a very nice price, which would be under 1000 Yuan. It gets a 528 MHZ Qualcomm MSM7625 processor, a 2.8 inches 320×240 capacitive touchscreen, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.It runs Android 2.1 and the battery life is 5 hours for taking time. Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510) with sliding QWERTY keyboard gets official

Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510) that was first revealed at the IFA has got the official unveiling. The phone runs on Android 2.2 OS and features a physical sliding QWERTY keyboard for business users and social network users.

It features a 667MHz CPU, 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display (240×400 pixels), TouchWiz 3.0 UI, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, Social Hub, DivX support, 160MB internal memory, microSD card slot and 1200mAh battery.

It will arrive in Europe in November carrying a price tag of 389 euros ($539).

GSmart S1205 – phone with two SIM cards

GSmart S1205 is the latest smartphone launched by Gigabyte, a smartphone that supports operations for two SIM cards simultaneously. The GSmart S1205 comes installed with Windows Mobile 6.5. The phone is not compatible with 3G technology, but supports all other connection technologies plus a GPS system. The GPS navigation system use Ida navigation system .
The processor has a working frequency of 416 MHz and RAM capacity available is 256 MB. Memory is not a very spacious since it has a capacity of only 128MB, but you can increase the memory capacity with a microSD card with a capacity of up to 16GB. The screen is a generous with 3.2-inch diagonal and a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels.

LG Announces A New Clamshell Phone

LG Electronics has once again expanded its clamshell phone line-up with the announcement of the LG JoyPop KH3900 for the South Korean market. The handset is equipped with a 2.8-inch 240 x 400 display, a 2MP camera, a 1.3MP camera for video call, a 190MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, WiFi and supports for FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) technology, which allows users to use the phone as a mobile and fixed line. The LG JoyPop KH3900 will be available in South Korea via KT mobile operator for unannounced price yet.

LG SU420 – world first DMB 2.0 phone

LG announced in Korea the launch of its first phone that supports DMB 2.0 technology. With codenamed the ‘Cafe Phone’, LG SU420 comes with a TV receiver that supports DMB 2.0 technology, which makes one of the most complex multimedia phones on the market.

DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 2.0 is a technology that allows users to access Internet TV, access to e-commerce, and more. Returning to the phone, it comes with a touchscreen of 3.2 inches with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 3 megapixel camera, another 1.3MP camera for video calling, a microSD slot (with cards thas has a capacity of up to 16GB ), Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi.

LG SU420 supports DivX files and Dolby Mobile, which brings an improvement of quality music. The battery has a talk time of up to 250 minutes, and a stand-by time up to 220 hours. It is also equipped with a new generation of digital TV receiver with digital radio and video on demand (VoD). Unfortunately we have no details on release date in the U.S. or Europe, but we will return with details and also the price of the phone.

Sirius IM-A600: a new Pantech phone Android 2.1

The HTC EVO 4G won’t be alone in the ranks of Android 2.1 devices with an HDMI output. Pantech plans to release a Snapdragon powered, 2.1 Android device with this feature as well. This phone also packs in a few other surprises that most people would like in their next device.

This phone will be released for SK Telecom in Korea. It features a 3.7”AMOLED screen with a resolution of 800 × 480, a TV tuner, 5 Megapixel camera, 500MB of internal memory, compatibility with MicroSD memory cards (up to 32GB), Wi-Fi, HDMI output support DivX. And it appears to have a front facing camera as well. So it’s essentially a Nexus one type device with an HDMI and DiVX support, we need something like this to be released in the US.

Microsoft’s Project Pink materializes in KIN line of social phones

Following months and month of rumors, Microsoft has today finally taken the veil off the first products to come out of the infamous Project Pink, the KIN series of social-oriented mobile phones. Made by Sharp, the first two KIN models are called KIN One and KIN Two (very original naming scheme as you can see) and both feature QWERTY keyboards that enable faster typing but also boast touchscreen to stay ‘in trend’.

KIN One boasts a 5 megapixel camera (SD video shooting), 4GB of built-in storage, and a mono speaker, while KIN Two features an 8MP HD-capable camera, 8GB of memory and stereo speakers. Both models include LumiLED flash and image stabilization for the camera.

KIN phones come with an interface focused on the user’s connections and content, with a home screen called Loop, which is always up to date, showing all the things happening in the social world. To ensure easy access to the individual’s network, KIN rounds up feeds from Microsoft and third-party services such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, providing status updates, messages, feeds and photos from friends and family. Another feature included is the KIN Spot which lets users quickly share messages, videos, web pages,location and status updates.

Another fresh thing accompanying Microsoft’s phones is the KIN Studio, a cloud computing service that automatically backs up texts, call history, photos, videos and contacts, and thus helping free up the built-in storage. Content added to KIN Studio can be accessed via web browser so you’ll also be able to check it out almost whenever and from whatever device.

According to Microsoft, the KIN phones will be offered in the US by Verizon Wireless as of May, and will reach the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain via Vodafone this autumn.

BlackBerry 9300 (Kepler) and 9330 (Aries II) – two new phones from RIM

A new information appears on the Internet reveals two new phones to be launched by RIM: BlackBerry 9300 is one of the phone that has the codenamed Kepler, and the second phone is the BlackBerry 9330 – codenamed Aries II.
So far there are not many information about these two phones besides some technical specifications. The screen for these two phones will have a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, include 802.11n Wi-Fi and 3G technology, but the difference is found in the network considering that 9300 will be a GSM phone, while 9330 will be a CDMA phone.

Samsung Corby Pro B5310R – a new phone made by Samsung

Samsung Corby Pro B5310R comes with a design similar to Corby S3650, but comes with a side-sliding keyboard and a range of impressive features including a screen with the 2.8 inches QVGA, a 3-megapixels camera, a 3.5mm jack, support for 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS.
The phone dimensions are 105 x 56.8 x 15.68 mm and weighs 110 g. The battery is a standard Li – Ion 960 mAh which lasts up to 5 hours talk, and a stand-by time up to 350 hours. The 2.8 inches screen supports a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and 262,144 colors. The camera has 3 megapixels and also has digital zoom. Video formats supported by Corby Pro B5310R are: MPEG4, WMV, and 3GPP; audio formats supported are: MP3, AAC, AAC + and WMA. The internal memory has a capacity of 125 MB and the memory can be increased using a card type microSD / microSDHC.
