MSI Big Bang Marshal P67+Hydra motherboard

Straight from Taiwan comes a new batch of photos that depict the almost finished Big Bang Marshall XL-ATX motherboard from MSI which is based on the Intel P67 chipset, has support for LGA1155 processors, and comes equipped with one Lucidlogix HydraLogix chip.

The Big Bang Marshall is nothing if not hardcore and impressive since it features a 24-phase DrMOS PWM design, Military Class II components, no less than eight PCI-Express x16 slots (working at x8 when all are used), two 8-pin CPU power connectors and one 6-pin plug for supplying graphics cards, switches for disabling out PCIe x16 slots, voltage read points, and three BIOSes.

MSI’s board also includes the OC Genie II one-button overclocking function, four SATA 6.0 Gbps and four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, eight USB 3.0 connectors, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, two eSATA ports, Power, Reset, Clear CMOS and OC buttons, as well as the ClickBIOS (UEFI).

MSI Launches Stylish FX700 and FR700 Notebooks

The latest fad in mobile PC design is to slap on a high-gloss finish, which admittedly looks terrific but also serves as a magnet for smudges and fingerprints. MSI claims its new FX700 and FR700 won’t tolerate such nonsense with their anti-smudge and anti-scratch raised totem seal coating technology. Sounds fancy, and should we get one in to play with, we’ll let you know if it works.

In the meantime, we have a handful of specs to share. The more powerful of the two, the FX700 comes equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor, up to 80GB of DDR3 memory, Nvidia GeForce GT 425M graphics with a 1GB frame buffer, 320/500/640GB hard drive, DVD burner, 4-channel speakers, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, 5-in-1 memory card reader, HDMI, VGA, Bluetooth, Windows Home 7 Premium, and a 6-cell battery.

MSI N480GTX Lightning GeForce GTX 480 Sneak Peek

MSI is readying a new flagship NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480-powered graphics card, the N480GTX Lightning. Like MSI’s other “Lightning” branded cards, the upcoming N480GTX Lightning is anything but a “me too” reference card. In fact, MSI has modified everything from the PCB design, to frequencies, and of course the cooler.

First and foremost, the MSI N480GTX Lightning is designed for overclockers. The card features MSI’s new, dual-fan Twin Frozr III cooler which also has a nickel-plated copper heatsink base, linked to a high-density array of aluminum cooling fins by five heat-pipes. The card also features over-voltage controls for the GPU, memory, and PLL, voltage check-points, voltage switches for instant voltage changes, and “CopperMOS” MOSFETS, which reportedly offer better cooling performance. In addition to the aforementioned items, the N480GTX Lightning also sports some “Proadlizer” (Prompt, Broadband, Stabilizer) capacitors which offer ultra-high capacitance ratings and have flat surfaces that can be more easily cooled.

MSI,the well-known graphics card and motherboard manufacturer recently is proud to unveil a new graphic card N460GTX HAWK Talon Attack equipped with memory chips of 0.4ns.

Before this updated edition,MSI has ever launched the graphics N460GTX HAWK,it is quite popular with consumers with it excellent material, wonderful overclocking ability as well as its reasonable price.

There are not many changes with appearance and PCB design for the updated edition, but 0.5ns GDDR5 memory chips are updated to 0.4ns ones, which make it have a better overclocking performance.

In addition, its core/Shader/memory clock have been improved to 810/1620/3900MHz from the default clocks of 780/1560/3600MHz.Of course, the updated edition still keeps the original selling points:it features Twin Frozr II thermal design,V-Check Points voltage measurement, supports APS active phase switching technology, etc.

MSI Introduces N480GTX Twin Frozr II Graphics Card

Looking for a new GPU, and don’t much mind how much noise it makes? Look no further than MSI’s newest card, the N480GTX Twin Frozr II graphics card. Despite having two huge fans onboard, MSI claims that their specialized cooling system effectively reduces temperature by 14 degrees C and noise by 4dB. Impressive claims for sure.

The card is built on the 40nm manufacturing process, and it’s equipped with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory. Furthermore, there are two 8cm PWM fans and five heat-pipes, and the integrated afterburner overclocking software allows users to really push things. MSI hasn’t given a price or release date, but given that it’s based on NVIDIA‘s GeForce 480 GTX, we’d say it’ll be pretty expensive and on shelves soon.

MSI comes up with its own GeForce GTX 465

MSI has also joined the GTX 465 launch party and introduced the N465GTX-M2D1G model which is based on Nvidia’s reference design but utilizes ‘Military Class’ components – solid CAPs, Hi-C Cap for the GPU, SSC (Solid Stake Choke), for extra overclocking potential and a longer life.

MSI’s GeForce GTX 465 costs $280 and supports DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0, has 352 CUDA Cores @ 1215 MHz, a GPU clock of 607 MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, 1GB of GDDR5 memory @ 3206 MHz, and boasts dual-DVI and mini HDMI outputs.

MSI follows fate’s whispers, intros 24-inch Wind Top AE2420 3D

3D craze flows from the cinema to the television and onto the PC, it was just a matter of time before one of MSI’s Wind Top all-in-ones shipped with support for the third dimension. By most accounts, the new Wind Top AE2420 3D looks like a mildly larger version of the AE2220 we peeked late last year, touting a 24-inch 1080p multitouch panel, support for shutter glasses (a single pair is included), Core i5 or i7 CPU options and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730 pushing the pixels. There’s also a pair of 5-watt speakers built-in, not to mention an Ethernet jack, VGA output and a handful of USB 2.0 sockets. Mum’s the word on pricing, but MSI is expected to have this bad boy on display as Computex kicks off early next week. Yeah, you know we’ll be there pretending to be embarrassed while donning the spectacles.
