Gigabyte’s GeForce GT 430 has dual-fan cooler, higher clocks

As expected Taiwan-based Gigabyte Technology has joined the GeForce GT 430 launch party and announced a card based on the 40nm GF108 GPU. Dubbed GV-N430OC-1GL, the card has a low profile, a higher (higher than 700 MHz) GPU clock, and a cooler with packing two inclined fans.

Gigabyte’s GT 430 makes use of Ultra Durable 2 components that ensure a cooler, longer life (for the card of course), and has 96 CUDA Cores, a 128-bit memory interface, 1GB of DDR3 VRAM, and D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs.

Gigabyte Rolls Out GeForce GTS 450 WindForce Extreme Overclock Graphics Card

GeForce GTS 450 WindForce

Gigabyte introduced a new newer “Extreme Overclock” variant of its GeForce GTS 450 WindForce graphics card, carrying the model number GV-N450OC2-1GI. On launch day of the GTS 450 GPU, Gigabyte had released its first overclocked WindForce graphics card. The Extreme Overclock variant features a high GPU core clock speed of 930 MHz (vs. 783 MHz reference), 1860 MHz CUDA cores (vs. 1566 MHz), and 1000 MHz or 4.00 GHz GDDR5 effective (vs. 900 MHz/3.60 GHz) memory. It uses a slightly longer PCB built with Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable VGA construction, and a dual-fan GPU cooler the company calls “WindForce”. It is available now, priced at US $149.99.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock gets its cooler on

Spotted a couple of days ago in the nude, without a cooler, Gigabyte’s upcoming GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock card has also been found on display at Computex, this time, in full battle gear, equipped with a triple-fan solution that should keep the GF100’s temps at ‘acceptable’ levels’.

Codenamed GV-N470SO-13I, Gigabyte’s card has a 12-phase power design, the mention three-fan cooler that also packs a few heatpipes for better heat conductivity, 448 CUDA Cores, a 320-bit memory interface and 1280MB of GDDR5 VRAM, voltage read points, dual-DVI and mini HDMI outputs, and some unknown frequencies (the card will be factory overclocked).

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 465 has custom cooler, stock clocks

The third GeForce GTX 400 series card, known as GTX 465, will be officially introduced this week but courtesy of some ‘strategic’ leaks there are no major surprises expected from it so instead we’ll have to focus more on the specials provided by add-in board makers like Gigabyte.

Now, Gigabyte didn’t play around with the GTX 465’s clocks as it’s probably too early for that but it did utilize a 2oz copper PCB (which is obviously colored in blue) and a secsy custom cooler that features four copper heatpipes and two inclined 80mm inclined.

The GeForce GTX 465 includes 352 CUDA Cores, a GPU clock of 607 MHz, a shader frequency of 1215 MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM @ 3206 MHz, 3-way SLI support, dual-DVI and mini HDMI outputs, and is priced at $280.

Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 mini ITX motherboard goes official

Gigabyte has just sent out a press release to mark the introduction of the GA-H55N-USB3 aka, the ‘world’s first’ mini ITX motherboard to feature USB 3.0 connectivity. As its name suggests, the compact board is powered by the Intel H55 chipset and supports LGA 1156 processors.

Looking as blue as all other Gigabyte motherboards on sale today, the GA-H55N-USB3 has an Ultra Durable 3 design, a 2oz copper PCB, the Dynamic Energy Saver 2 for lower power consumption, two DDR3-1666 memory slots, one PCI-Express x16 slot, four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, one eSATa and two USB 3.0 connectors, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, as well as D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs.

The new board should be hitting stores very soon.

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD9 motherboard goes on sale

Gigabyte’s mightiest X58 motherboard ever, the GA-X58A-UD9, has begun shipping this week and can be found on stock in several markets (not Europe yet apparently) by overclockers and enthusiasts with reasonably-large wallets.

Announced earlier this month, Gigabyte’s board has a 2oz copper PCB, an Ultra Durable construction, a 24-phase power design, dual power switching and the Dynamic Energy Saver 2 technology, and a large cooling system that mostly relies on air flow but includes a waterblock for the northbridge.

The GA-X58A-UD9 supports LGA 1366 processors and packs six DDR3-2200+ memory slots, seven PCI-Express x16 slots backed by two Nvidia NF200 bridge chips, two SATA 6.0 Gbps and eight SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, two eSATA and two USB 3.0 connectors, FireWire, Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons, and the age-old DualBIOS.

Those interested can get the motherboard for $700 . Anyone willing to donate $700?

Gigabyte’s mighty X58A-UD9 motherboard gets official

Gigabyte Technology has this week officially introduced its highest-end Intel X58 motherboard yet which is known as GA-X58A-UD9 and can brag with a 24-phase power design, seven PCI-Express x16 slots, two Nvidia NF200 bridge chips, and a waterblock mounted on the northbridge.
