EVGA delivering just one GeForce GT 430

To our surprise and disappointment, EVGA has today only announced a single GeForce GT 430 card, just one. Codenamed 01G-P3-1430-LR, the card has a low profile, a single-slot active cooler, 96 CUDA Cores, a 128-bit memory interface and 1GB of DDR3 memory.

EVGA’s GT 430 has GPU/shader/memory clocks of 700/1400/1400 MHz, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI 1.4a outputs, DirectX 11, CUDA, PhysX, and Blu-ray 3D support, and bears a price tag of $79.99.

 

EVGA launches the X58 Classified3 motherboard

EVGA has just rolled out a new ATX motherboard based on the X58 chipset, the X58 Classified3 which boasts both USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, and supports the latest LGA 1366 processors, including the hexa-core Core i7-980X.

Known as the X58 Classified3, the new board has a black PCB, 10-phase Digital PWM, six DDR3 memory slots, four PCI-Express x16 slots for SLI setups, two SATA 6.0 Gbps and six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 connectors, 7.1 channel audio, a debug LED, voltages read points, CMOS, Power and Reset buttons, PCIe disable jumpers, and other OC goodies.

The X58 Classified3 is now available @ $379.99.

EVGA serving up two GeForce GTX 465 cards

Loyal Nvidia add-in board partner EVGA has let loose a couple of GeForce GTX 465 cards to help spread the Fermi love to people who can’t afford the previously-released GTX 470 or GTX 470. The models in question are a stock-clocked GTX 465 and the factory-overclocked GTX 465 SuperClocked.

Both of EVGA’s cards are based on Nvidia’s reference design and have 352 CUDA Cores, a 256-bit memory interface, 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM, support for DirectX 11, 2/3-way SLI, PhysX, CUDA, 3D Vision Surround, a dual-slot cooler, and dual-DVI and HDMI outputs.

The ‘regular’ GTX 465 has GPU/shader/memory clocks of 607/1215/3206 MHz and costs $279.99, while the  GTX 465 SuperClocked tops 625/1250/3240 MHz and goes for $299.99.

EVGA’s Classified SR-2 dual-socket board up for pre-order

More than two months have passes since EVGA officially announced the Classified SR-2 motherboard powered by the Intel 5520 chipset and while it still isn’t shipping, the dual-headed overclocking bad boy has been made available for pre-order.

Costing $600, the Classified SR-2 (Super Record 2) has an HPTX form factor and boasts two LGA 1366 sockets supporting Xeon 5500/5600 processors, 8+2 phase power, 12 DDR3 memory slots, two NF200 bridge chips connected to seven PCI-Express x16 slot enabling 2-way/3-way/Quad-SLI or CrossFireX configurations, as well as two SATA 6.0 Gbps and six SATA 3.0 Gbps connectors.

EVGA’as motherboard also packs active cooling, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, two USB 3.0 and two eSATA ports, jumpers for disabling PCI-E slots, Clear CMOS, Power and Reset buttons, plus support for the EVBot handheld OC device. According to its maker, the Classified SR-2 will begin shipping next week, on June 2nd.

EVGA coming out with the X58 FTW3 motherboard

Overclockers beware as EVGA is out to hunt your cash and it is equipped with a new weapon, the X58 FTW3 (For Teh Win) motherboard which makes use of Intel’s X58 chipset and includes both SATA 6.0 Gbps and USB 3.0 support.

Seen below, the upcoming board (codenamed 132-GT-E768-KR) has a blue PCB and a quite beefy air-based cooling solution, what it seems like a 10-phase power design, support for LGA 1366 processors, six DDR3-1600+ memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots for 2-/3-way SLI or CrossFireX setups, two SATA 6.0 Gbps and six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 connectors, 7.1 channel audio, and FireWire.

The X58 FTW3 is now available for pre-order in North America @ $342.39.

EVGA GeForce GTX 470 Hydro Copper up for pre-order

If you are craving for a little Fermi friend but you’re scared not to get burned (literally) then worry not as EVGA’s watercooled GeForce GTX 470 has become available for pre-order. Beside being cooler than your average GTX 470, thanks to the Hydro Copper waterblock, EVGA’s card is faster because it comes factory overclocked, the GPU, shaders and memory being set to 650 (607 MHz stock), 1300 (1215) and 3402 (3348) MHz, respectively.

The GeForce GTX 470 Hydro Copper FTW also packs 448 CUDA Cores, a 320-bit memory interface and 1280MB of GDDR5 VRAM, 3-way SLI support, and dual-DVI and mini-HDMI outputs. The card costs $500.

EVGA debuts the Classified SR-2 dual-socket LGA 1366 motherboard

EVGA has today finally introduced its greatest overclocking-ready motherboard yet, the dual-socket Classified SR-2 (Super Record 2) which is powered by Intel’s 5520 chipset. Coming in a HPTX (345.4 (L) x 381 (W) mm) form factor, the massive board can handle two LGA 1366 Xeon processors, features 8+2 phase power, extra golden CPU pins, 12 (six per socket) DDR3 memory slots and two NF200 bridge chips connected to seven PCI-Express x16 slot enabling 2-way/3-way/Quad-SLI or CrossFireX configurations.

EVGA crazy contraption boasts active cooling, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, two USB 3.0 and two eSATA ports, two SATA 6.0 Gbps and six SATA 3.0 Gbps connectors, jumpers for disabling PCI-E slots, Clear CMOS, Power and Reset buttons, plus support for the EVBot handheld OC device.

The Classified SR-2 is backed by a lifetime warranty and is priced at $600 but is not yet available.

In addition to the board, EVGA is promising to release a 1200W PSU with six +12V rails (38A each) for those who want top-notch power for their overclocking rig.
