Acer Intros 3D-Capable Aspire 5745DG 15.6″ Notebook

Have you considered a 3D notebook? It’s getting harder and harder to find new machines that are 2D-only, and even Acer is adding a 3D model to their Aspire series. The new Aspire 5745DG ha a 15.6″ CineCrystal 120Hz LCD which features NVIDIA 3D Vision technology, and there’s even software that can convert 2D content into 3D content on the panel.

Other specifications include NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 425M GPU, Core i3/i5/i7 processor options, an optional Blu-ray Disc drive, HDMI output, up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, a memory card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, a Crystal Eye webcam and a 1280×1024 screen resolution. Acer Roll Outs Aspire AZ3100-U3072 All-in-One Desktop PC

Acer has inserted a new mid-stream All-in-One Desktop PC into their Aspire family dubbed as AZ3100-U3072. The AiO PC is the space saving type since it has an overall compact design. Featuring 21.5-inch full HD display (1920x1080p), AMD Athlon II 170u CPU at 2.0GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 9200 GPU, and 3GB RAM.

THe Acer Aspire AZ3100-U3072 All-in-One Desktop PC comes with 500GB HDD, webcam, Gigabit LAN, DVD Drive, WiFi, two built-in speakers and the system is preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. It also support HDMI port for HDTV footage, and has come with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Acer Aspire AZ3100-U3072 All-in-One Desktop PC is going to retails for $599.

Acer Aspire TimelineX laptops get priced in full

Announced one month ago, Acer’s new Aspire TimelineX 13.3-inch (3820T), 14-inch (4820T) and 15.6-inch (5820T) laptops based on the Intel Calpella platform have begun shipping in Europe with starting price tags of 699 Euro, 749 Euro and, well, again 749 Euro.

The three TimelineX models have LED-backlit displays with a native of 1366 x 768 pixels and boast a Core i3, i5 or i7 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, a maximum of 640GB of storage space via one hard drive, integrated Intel graphics or Mobility Radeon HD 5650/HD 5470 (switchable) graphics, a Crystal Eye webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and optionally Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G.

The 11.6-inch Aspire TimelineX 1830T, which features similar specs to its bigger brothers, is expected to debut in June at 549+ Euro.

Acer Aspire 1825PTZ convertible tablet goes on sale in Europe

Announced last month, the Aspire 1825PTZ 11.6-inch convertible tablet from Acer has recently begun shipping throughout Europe and can be found priced as low as 560 Euro. At this price you’re getting a 1.72kg portable PC with a 11.6-inch (1366×768) capacitive touchscreen, a 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium SU4100 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, but no optical drive.

Acer’s 1825PTZ also packs Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 5-in-1 card reader, a HDMI output, a 6-cell battery, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Acer Aspire Ethos 5943G and 8943G laptops exposed

X may mark the spot but Acer is the type of company that has more than one buried treasure and that’s why today we’re talking about a new Aspire series laptop line – Ethos. Playing the multimedia card, the first modelsto bear the Ethos name are the 15.6-inch (1366×768) 5943G and 18.4-inch (1920×1080) 8943G which come with a slim metallic chassis and feature a Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, one (or two on the 8943G) hard drive(s) with a capacity of up to 640GB, a DX11-ready Mobility Radeon HD 5650 or HD 5850 graphics card (with 1GB VRAM), and a DVD or Blu-ray drive.

The new models also boast Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, optional Bluetooth, a mult-card reader, a webcam, a multi-gesture touchpad, optional TV tuner, and 2.1 (5943G_ or 5.1 (8943G) sound.

The Aspire Ethos 5943G and 8943G are pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and have a declared battery life of up to 3.5 hours (8-cell battery). Unfortunately, the prices and/or release date(s) of the laptops have not been announced.

Acer Aspire 1825PT & 1825PTZ convertible tablets coming up

After negotiating with the Easter Bunny, Acer has apparently agreed to launch just before Easter a couple of new convertible tablets, the Aspire 1825PT and 1825PTZ. Both machines feature a 11.6-inch (likely 1366×768) capacitive touchscreen, a 250GB hard drive, and are pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium.

The 1825PT packs a 1.3 GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor and 4GB of RAM, while the 1825PTZ makes use of 3GB of RAM and a 1.3 GHz Pentium SU4100 chip. Currently the Aspire 1825PTZ can be found listed with a price tag of 693.15 Euro but guessing (and hoping), it will cost a bit less when it does ship, probably around next week.
