Samsung Sells Its 10 Millionth Galaxy S Smartphone in Less than seven Months

Well, guess what, it seems that what scientist says are true after all, the galaxy is in an ever expanding universe, and that maybe why Samsung decided to name its range of Android smartphone! Just less than seven months after the launch of the Galaxy S, Samsung announce that it sells 10 Million of it… A quite impressive number to say the least!

Samsung Galaxy S I9000 clone from Shenzhen

Samsung’s Galaxy S series phones behave not bad at the market, and of curse they got attention from Shenzhen Shanzhai makers. This Galaxy S I9000 clone is their newest respond. The phone looks decent with a golden trim, and also solid built, the thing might upset you is that it’s based on MTK MTK6516 chip, which just gets a 416Mhz processor. It runs Android 2.1 currently, and according to kids behind M8cool the maker will launch new firmware in not a long time to support Windows Mobile and Android dual-boot, which is not impossible, and Shanzhai makers are not aways unbelievable, because we’ve seem some MTK6516 based phones with dual-boot OS. Other specs include a 3.5 inches 320×480 capacitive touchscreen, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, Bluetooth and WI-FI connectivity, and a 5-megapixel camera. Still no information about the price.

Verizon has entering another 4G wireless modem and it’s now the turn for Pantech from Korea. Pantech UML290 is the codename, which is one of the unique 4G Wireless USB modem with rotatable USB connector that could be hidden when not in-use.

ZTE R750 Dual mode Android phone

ZTE’s another Android phone was spotted at the ongoing P&T/EXPO COMM China 2010 event. The phone was named as R750, and runs Android 2.1. One important point is that the it is a dual mode phone, and supports CDMA and GSM radio. The design looks quite ordinary, but the specs are not bad, as a phone that is priced around 1800 Yuan. It gets a 528MHZ Qualcomm MSM7627 processor, a 3.2 inches 320×480 capacitive touchscreen, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, and a 3-megapixel camera.

Huawei C8500 bargain Android phone hands-on video

At the ongoing P&T/EXPO COMM China 2010 event hold in Beijing, Huawei brings with its new Android phone C8500. The phone supports EDVO radio, and will head to China Telecom in China. It’s targeted at entry-level market, with a very nice price, which would be under 1000 Yuan. It gets a 528 MHZ Qualcomm MSM7625 processor, a 2.8 inches 320×240 capacitive touchscreen, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.It runs Android 2.1 and the battery life is 5 hours for taking time. Samsung Freeform II (SCH-r360) announced on MetroPCS

Samsung has announced Freeform’s successor for the US market. The Freeform II or SCH-r360 is a candybar QWERTY phone that features a four-row QWERTY keyboard, 2.2-inch QVGA TFT display, 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, music player, microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB, MetroNavigator GPS navigation and a 1000mAh battery giving talk time of up to 5 hours and standby of up to 550 hours.

Dell Lightning smartphone goes official as the Venue Pro, still looking hot

Deemed ‘hot’ by yours truly back in April when it was known as Lightning, Dell’s first Windows Phone 7 device, today announced under the name Venue Pro, is still a real head-turner, even among the sexy WP7 phones from HTC, Samsung and LG.

Pictured below, Dell’s smartphone is a WP7 slider that features a 4.1-inch (800 x 480) AMOLED touchscreen enhanced with Gorilla Glass for extra durability, a 1 GHz Snapdragon chipset, a QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm jack.

Jabra Extreme wireless headset has Skype certification, costs $100

Jabra has now let loose upon the US (via Best Buy stores), a new headset that can be used with a mobile phone while also being connected to a PC, ready to take Skype calls. Dubbed Jabra Extreme – for PC, the wireless headset is available for $100.

Pictured below, Jabra’s creation measures 47 x 18.5 x 27.5 mm, and features dual microphones, Multiuse technology for simultaneous connectivity with two devices, DSP for crystal clear sound and voice, acoustic shock protection, Bluetooth 2.1, Ultimate-Fit Eargels and flexible ear hooks, and a talk time of 5.5 hours. Samsung extends Bada smartphone line-up with the launch of high-end Samsung WAVE II

Here you are Samsung update of its wave phone, the Wave II, running on Samsung’s Bada 1.2 OS and featuring a 3.7” Super Clear LCD screen instead of the previous 3.3” super AMOLED display. This new Wave II comes with QuickType and T9 Trace Keyboard, the equivalent of Swipe on Bada, as well as a 5Mpix Camera with AF, 2GB of internal memory, a 1GHz CPU, Wi-Fi BGN and a memory card slot.
