JVC To Showcase DLA-X7 And DLA-X9 THX 3D Certified Projectors At CES 2011

JVC is gearing up to showcase their new THX 3D Certified projectors ‘DLA-X7′ and ‘DLA-X9′ at the upcoming CES 2011. Supporting both 2D and 3D images, both of these projectors are able to deliver 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens brightness, 70,000:1 contrast ratio (DLA-X7), 100,000:1 contrast ratio (DLA-X9) and 16:9 native aspect ratio, and feature 2x HDMI connectors. The DLA-X7 and DLA-X9 are available now for $7,995 and $11,995, respectively.

Samsung announces the 950 Series 3D LED display ahead of CES

The 950 Series, is a 3D LED Display with a unique asymmetric design from Samsung. While there are yet any detailed information on this new display, Samsung announces however on its Korean press release that it will feature a unique metallic stand and the company proprietary ToC, Touch of Color, technology.

Samsung introduces a new compact and affordable Camcorder with the HMX-Q10

Samsung announces Smart TV app finalists

Samsung has announced finalists of its Free the TV challenge that involves creating apps for Samsung TVs, Blu-ray players and Blu-ray Home Theater Systems. Winners will be announced at the CES 2011 next week where four developers including one People’s Choice award winner will win a total of half a million dollars.

LG To Display The Worlds Largest Full HD LED 3D TV At CES 2011

In the next few weeks at CES 2011 (January 6th, 2011), you are going to see the demo of the world’s largest Full HD LED 3D TV from LG.

Known as LG LZ9700, this LED 3D TV has a massive size at 72-inch and amazing refresh rate at 400MHz. The LED 3D TV also featuring DLNA sharing, Media Link, USB ports, and Magic Motion remote control.

While the full information is yet to be released, but we can safely assume that LG is stuffing all of the latest technology into this puppy and it will be one of the breathtaking HDTV with groundbreaking pricing.

Pioneer blings out HDJ-1000 headphones, turns them into a $209 Limited Edition

The thing with headphones, and sound equipment in general, is that if you get the design right the first time, you don’t leave yourself much room for significant upgrades down the line. Pioneer seems to have fallen into that trap with its HDJ-1000 set of cans, which are today getting rehashed in a pair of new shades: the extrovert gold number above and an understated all-black look. Pioneer hasn’t left the innards completely unretouched, however, as it has nipped and tucked a few bits to allow better low-range reproduction and a more comfortable fit overall. Neither sounds likely to justify the price bump to $209, but those golden highlights sure look appealing from where we’re sitting.
